If Nick walks 5 to make it through 5 innings, plus throw at a low 40% level of strikes to balls, then he won't make it at the ML level. That's awful.

Not a stellar performance but he got results, I'd have like 6 innings at least but Ramos gave us 2.1 innings to make up for it

7.1 innings of 3 run ball out of NMart/Ramos is fine by me

A walk per inning will not get it done. Nor will 38 strikes outta 84 pitches.

I don't have the highest of hopes for Nick. But this will not even allow him to be much more than a last resort, and that for a non-contending team. Pretty disappointing.

Nick is probably a "AAAA" guy. He's a spot starter, a guy you throw out there when you don't have better options.

We need bullpen help. Badly. Dyson has looked very vulnerable lately and imploded tonight. Diekman and Bush have been bad lately too, and those are our 3 best relievers. 2 epic bullpen meltdowns in 5 games. I think our 3 best guys are just a bit worn down.
