That is ridiculous

I'm not sure what's worse, the article or the fact that someone paid the guy to write it. It would probably take me 2 pages to discuss everything wrong with that idea.

Everyone is focusing on the Astros' resurgence, yet no one is bothering to mention that they have been playing the easiest cupcake schedule ever, getting to beat up on the likes of the A's, Angels, Twins, and Reds. Their schedule stays ridiculously easy for the entire month of July too. The toughest opponent they'll see within the next few weeks is the Mariners. They get even more walkover wins against the Angels and A's over the next few weeks.

Their schedule doesn't get rough until the last week of July/first week of August when they play the Tigers, Blue Jays, and us.

They have to play them all sometime. Im all for them playing them now and then getting beat up on as the season progresses. Hopefully they fold like they did last year

They do face Chris Sale in the WSox series. But they have has some easy pitching match ups like Chris Young, Lincecum and Weaver even though we always stink against him. Shoemaker or whatever his name is has been tough but the Angels couldn't score. But you have to credit where credit is due and they are playing well.
