I think someone had a heart to heart with Prince. Maybe his wife jacked him up like Choos wife did.
I just think Prince finally got his act together. You know he was hearing about it from everywhere. But if Fielder and Tolleson are back that would be great.

Wtf? Just saw Hamels was yanked at 87 pitches? What's the deal? This has to be intentional, right?

Do you expect different with Jeff, he continues to baffle with his decision making.

No issue with it at all. Rangers lost 3 starters in about 10 days time. 7 innings of shutout ball with a 7 run lead is more than enough. No reason whatsoever to get another inning out of Hamels tonight, because if anything happens to him we are well and truly fucked.

I have to believe there's a strategy to keep our starters fresh for a deep run. That's the only thing I can think of.

I understand. I just didn't care for throwing Jake again.

That would be great, if we weren't already overworking the top BP guys so often, early in this season. Getting Kela back and having Tolley being better should help Jeff rest Diek later maybe, but since he's the hard throwing lefty they're gonna need him vs certain hitters late. Hamels could have gone one more and thrown 18-20 pitches and he'd have been no worse for the wear, probably

I'm thinking maybe they're banking on Kela coming back, Tolley finding his form, and JD picking up a quality lefty.

Well worm had to turn at some point. Looks like we are there. Good news is we won 24 out of 30 before this because I think things are about to get really rough for the Rangers. This is one of those back breaking, streak starting losses. Have to weather the storm now.

Would just like to point out the Rangers are on a 4 game winning streak since you made this statement, so they are streaking alright.

Haven't checked in on Tanner in a while but I suppose we have a shot at getting him back in a month or so... he hasn't really showed much since 2013 though, so who knows.

Don't want that guy anywhere near the Rangers team until he shows some consistency in the minors for a period of time.

Yeah hasn't been much info on Tanner lately but if he could come back and get us some innings and outs in the second half, it would be welcomed for sure

I get that and Im sure he'd have to show something in the rehab starts and at RR before being called up, but not sure he could be worse than Wilhelmsen was
