Starters would be my first priority.he might be one answer in the off-season but i think we need to add at least 2 starters in the off-season

I said the same thing in the off season. Was told Lewis and Harry would be fine. Never believed either would work out. Too many back surgeries in my family to believe differently.Don't get me wrong, I like JD. But IMO he really could have addressed the starting situation in this off season better than he did.
We had Darvish/Holland/Perez as really solid 1-3, and then the last 2 spots were heaped on hopes of Colby/Harry - who both were facing long odds really - or Ross/Tanner in remakes via the BP.
Honestly, that plan needed a little more thought IMO. Maybe it's just me.
Especially since Holland went down in the off-season. That should at least propelled that need to the top. And the fact this was Perez only second year as a starter may have put undo stress on the kid.Don't get me wrong, I like JD. Wonder if the rangers will call up Rua and give him a shot at first? What's to lose?

JD has been very reactive this off season and will be this coming off season. He signed Choo and traded for Fielder because of a not so good off season before. Now he must handle a pitching deficiency this off season. I hope some day he can be proactive and not reactive.Don't get me wrong, I like JD. Well, it obviously favors us, but it's throwing caution into the wind when we send anyone out there to pitch not named Darvish. How about this statistic for tonight's game?
Trout/Hamilton/Pujols are a combined 6 for 39 against Saunders; with Albert being 0-11.

That's very telling, and I don't see that ending anytime soon against them.In the 3 game series against the hated A's, Darvish had damn near the same line of Tep/Colby for whatever that's worth.
Against the rest of baseball, he's the man.
Price fans 10 but still losing to the Astros. I would think he would beg to be out of Tampa now.
Someone will, I would think. SF said to have a scout there.Something about him scares me in not wanting to give up too much. I'm not talking about just us but in general.
You know the Angels and Yankees will be going for him...Someone will, I would think. SF said to have a scout there.
