I think we have said the same thing, two different ways. Or, maybe we think they are doing the same thing but for different reasons.

If Leclerc can close out games on the road in the postseason, Dane Dunning can start on the road in the postseason.

If Dunning can make a start on short rest on the road, because it is a playoff-like game that needed to be won, last Sunday, then he could have done just fine in this game.

Regardless we will have Monty, Eovaldi and Dunning which will be nice.

Grossman batting third. One of our worst hitters. Seager won't see anything to hit. With Heaney pitching this feels like another one of those Bochy throw away games.

I don't get it. You put your best foot forward in the playoffs. We aren't doing that today.

There is no baseball reason to bat Robbie Grossman in the 3 hole. Not one. And Garver, a better hitter, is healthy.

Rangers is still only showing Heaney & Montgomery as the game #1 and 2 starters with games 3, 4 & 5 still TBD. My guess would be Dunning, Eovaldi & Montgomery in that order
