I don't know which way it will go - trades right off the bat in the next few days - or a little delay as teams look over the shape certain guys are in.
he'll be 34 in early june but still looks like a decent middle reliever.
35 in early july. not sure why we signed him. versatile but well used and old.
It's a signing that becomes much more palatable if we sign Conforto.35 in early july. not sure why we signed him. versatile but well used and old.
What did they do to worsen themselves? In any event, if it's for the bad, then that's good!!So far, the Twins are embarked on making themselves worse. Giddyup!
They traded Josh Donaldson for Gary Sanchez and a pitcher with below average stats. What did they do to worsen themselves? In any event, if it's for the bad, then that's good!!
Holy crap!!! LOL, yeppers they done got worse!!!They traded Josh Donaldson for Gary Sanchez and a pitcher with below average stats.
I can't see how Kimbrel would bring more value at the trade deadline, unless of course he's fully involved in pen activity the first half of the season. As for any type of trade bait in terms of acquiring Manaea or Montas, I always thought the Sox would dangle a couple of prospects, but also throw in Keuchel while eating half to two thirds of his salary. This would give the A's a cheap starter for one season to help transition to a younger rotation. The White Sox have to play it like Kimbrel might be more valuable at the trade deadline. If the Sox want some of the A's available pitchers - a 3rd team has to take Kimbrel and serve up prospects that would satisfy Oakland's rebuild.
LOL = yes for Krimbrel to be more valuable at the traded deadline - the White Sox will have to show proof of life. If he's on the roster TLR will use him.I can't see how Kimbrel would bring more value at the trade deadline, unless of course he's fully involved in pen activity the first half of the season. some here loved (me for one) that trade and some despised it. so .... explain please.Today I remembered what you guys told me when the Red Sox picked up Chris Sale.
You were 100% on the money.
i don't think he kept himself in the best of shape. sorry but, glad he's your problem. :PFrom what I remember I was told he was even more of a nut than I knew about (cutting up uniforms) and wasn't going to give many innings before breaking down.
But you can never take away the fact that he was a big contributor to your last WS ring. From what I remember I was told he was even more of a nut than I knew about (cutting up uniforms) and wasn't going to give many innings before breaking down.
