White Sox to honor Buehrle with statue in July

Former All-Star lefty Mark Buehrle, who played 12 of his 16 seasons with the White Sox, will be immortalized with a statue outside of Rate Field in a July 11 ceremony.

only 44 years old. his chances are decent (67ish percent) but not great. sad indeed.

yeah, but my bb instinct still says spring training doesn't mean a thing. i'm trying real hard (you know it's not easy for me ) to be patient and let them shake out the team and at least start to see some improvement.
but i'm sure not going to pay mlb to watch the games this year!

so all the hype about colson montgomery is just that .... hype. everyone was absolutely sure he's our starting ss. now he's back in AAA.

On paper this team is way worse than last yrs teams. I expect them to win more games but it’s hard to care about this franchise anymore

Man it would be nice if Colorado won 40 games or less this season. Probably won't...but it would be nice not to die with the White Sox still holding that record.

all the build up for montgomery for a couple years now and the guy is a total flop. can't break .150 in the minors.

they're both on target to finish worse than last year's sox (.253). sox are at .233 but the rocks are worse (.167).
