Depends on what team you're talking about. The Saints' dead money can't be restructured. Not sure why Washington would restructure, unless part of an extension that pays him more to placate the player.

I wouldn't expect him to drop his salary below that $16M base (plus roster bonuses), but maybe?

No reason to if performance and availability are consistent thu the end of this year.

skins have more than enuff money on the books to afford that. Since his next 2 years are not guaranteed, that’s where the bookkeeping and restructure come in to play (including likely roster bonuses)
