Has Andy Reid made the top 10 of all-time NFL head coaches?

But yeah, the Chiefs surprisingly didn't look like a team that was prepared to play a Super Bowl, and that's on Reid.
Im not really sure how they were supposed to prepare. I think Im removing my blinders and seeing that Kelce isnt close to prime Kelce anymore. They were massively outmatched and I think only got to the Super Bowl because they matched up surprisingly well with the Bills (Chiefs run way better than pass D) and they got a call and the Bills had a drop.

Two years ago we saw a lot of clever offensive things that surprised the Philly D. I didn't even see attempts at that this time. No joy in the offense.

Chiefs played (and beat) Fangio numerous times. There was a chess match going on its just that Fangio had way better pieces. There weren't going to be any surprises. Both sides knew each other

Reid's record without Mahomes is a LOT better than Belichick's without Brady.
There are not many DC's with a game plan in the HOF.
Just sayin.

Yeah, I was really surprised nothing changed in the second half. I honestly expected it to change in the second quarter, but...you know how it went.
That really knock Reid down a few notches in my book.
And if Philly hadn't rotated the bench through to get everyone Super Bowl Playing time, the score could have been record setting.

Reid's record without Mahomes is a LOT better than Belichick's without Brady.
And how much of Reid's success falls on the two QB's he was able to draft. McNabb, the second QB taken in 1999 and Mahommes the second QB taken in 2017.

I was honestly surprised Reid didn’t dial up more gadget plays given the time he had to prepare. He’s usually one to take advantage of a bye or extra week to install new wrinkles.

But yes in hindsight his offense was outmatched in this game. It’s a miracle they made the Super Bowl with that line and those skill position players.

To put Belichick in perspective, Pete Carroll was just hired.
Yeah, no doubt seems clear Brady made him and not the other way around. Also not that great in the draft (at least for a while) and if he is demanding that power still I can see why no one would hire him.

Of those listed I would say he would replace Joe Gibbs, or maybe even Belichick. Reid has had success on multiple teams with multiple QBs, Belichick hasn’t won anything without Brady and did a poor job building a team around Brady, things turned to shit in NE the minute Brady left.
I'd say fair about BB and Gibbs might have been my first thought....but he won SBs with Theisman and Doug Williams so might leave him on there.

Joe Gibbs isn't working for anyone either...doesn't mean his record doesn't stand.

Call me when Reid gets the the Super Bowl 9 times, wins 6, and 13 AFCCG including 8 straight.
Not quite there of course but now that he has a QB closer to Brady level sure seems like he could.

I'm not even saying Reid is top 10 as that Mahomes fellow is far more the reason than Reid IMO.

Are you trying to credit Belichick because he lucked into arguably the GOAT in round 6?

Lombardi only had 11.

3 SBs with 3 different QBs.

Exceptional coach, the question was asked who I'd take out i was torn between him and Noll

Lombardi is more of a staple in the sports history than Gibbs.

Gibbs won 3 Superbowls with mid level QBs and despite how Bill's career ended people will still remember him as the greatest coach ever.

While Lambeau and Halas are icons of the NFL, are they really all that great of coaches?
