well this part is misleading.
When Cooper left. He was carrying a 20 mil per yr tag with him. If his contract was lower I am sure a team would have given a better draft pick.
Mingo is just....... Well whoever he is.
a man leaning on a wall with his hand on his chin

So sure player to player. It is obvious Cooper is the better guy, but add in playing a salary cap game. is the reason for not getting more. Not because he wasnt valued. So it isnt player to player. It is 20 mil vs. peanuts costs to get them.
Then there is the whole. I dont think the Cowboys like having a 4th. It seems like we are always giving it away.

Yea, totally true. Cooper was a guy demanding a huge contract. He was maybe worth it though?

if you were needing a #1 sure.
Problem with us he would have been our #2.
I liked him on our team but werent gonna carry him at those #'s So I understood why we let him leave.

Yeah we are in a rural area and never got many, the kids were driven to a more high volume area. Now we don't have any and I stopped buying candy a few years ago.

It's the opposite for me. I live in a residential area just inside city limits and people bring kids by the van load into our neighborhood. I stopped participating probably 10 years ago due to the overload of kids. I just go out for the night, often to a movie (went to the meh at best Venom movie this time).

Entering Sunday, Caleb Williams completed just 31% of his throws with 15 or more air yards, 29th among qualified quarterbacks. Against the Cardinals, he was 1-of-8 (12.5%). Williams finished 22-of-41 for 216 yards and was sacked six times.

This was taken from ESPN. I still like Williams to succeed eventually, protection and the OL is hampering him. I also believe most Bears fans if they were honest will admt that they are worried that their team selected the wrong QB. He is still missing far too many throws.

If they think so, there are plenty of teams that will take him off their hands.

Prepare yourselves. It's coming.

Dallas is gonna end up with a top 5 draft pick, fire McCarthy and we're gonna get endless "Should the Cowboys hire Deion and draft Shakur?" hot takes

Dak just signed an extension. He'd be awfully expensive to dump for a few years yet.

I still think he will be good. I think Daniels will be better and I thought that on draft day and obviously feel much more strongly now.

They're very different players IMO. Daniels is more athlete in the Lamar mold, whereas Caleb runs when needed but is more of a Mahomes type (obviously nowhere near that level yet lol, but I can see him having success in a similar style).

The Packers looked like the youngest team in the NFL yesterday.

Hard to take too much from that game yesterday beyond they don't play well in a downpour with a gimpy QB. Wicks really needs to shore up his hands.

Take that blindly bad pick 6 out of the mix and the game is extremely even.
