Just breaking down Dennis Allen's season:

2 Blowout wins
loss by 3 to the Eagles
loss by 2 at the Falcons
loss at Kansas City
3 losses with Spencer Rattler at QB
loss by 1 at Carolina

Obviously not a good coach but its entirely possible the Saints just suck and he is an ok coach. Saints naturally have depth issues because they always trade up in the draft and always have their cap maxed out and then some.
