...
Aikman's attempt to use "EIGHT" on apparel and bags would be "likely to cause confusion, or cause mistake, or to deceive" the purchasing public as to whether they're buying products from Jackson or Aikman's company
idiot could have called uber or a teammate.I was kinda thinking Xanax or one of its cousins.
Had a teammate die, wouldn’t be odd to take a medication for the first time immediately afterward.
For sure still a bad look.
here's a good article spelling out the issue.
This looks frivolous to me -
Jackson has applied for trademarks of phrases that include the number 8.
Aikman is applying for trademarks that use the single all-capitals word EIGHT.
No reasonable person would be inclined to confuse one for the other.
Jackson disputes Aikman trademark bid for No. 8

Yep.idiot could have called uber or a teammate.
No offense to Aikman, but nobody under 50 is buying something EIGHT because of him.Neither should get trademarks anyway. This is like Lebron trying to trademark Taco Tuesday
Depends. He’s the last Cowboy QB to win a Super Bowl. That alone makes him marketable to a niche group that’s quite sizable. No offense to Aikman, but nobody under 50 is buying something EIGHT because of him.
won more sbs,but can, touch staubach in greatness.Depends. He’s the last Cowboy QB to win a Super Bowl. That alone makes him marketable to a niche group that’s quite sizable.
K. But nobody is marketing Roger Staubach anymore and that’s the discussion.won more sbs,but can, touch staubach in greatness.
You can trademark almost anything. You’d be surprisedI could not believe it when I heard about that trademark dispute. How is that even remotely something a player should be able to trademark?
I wanted to trademark my genitals, but they sent me over to the small business adminstration. You can trademark almost anything. You’d be surprised
Watch out for the rubber stamp.I wanted to trademark my genitals, but they sent me over to the small business adminstration.
I don’t get it. The cost is just gonna go up from here.No extension imminent for Chase.
The Bengals gonna Bengal.
I agree 100%.I don’t get it. The cost is just gonna go up from here.
I think I'm going to trademark the word "the" or maybe the letter "t"here's a good article spelling out the issue.

He was saying this over the winter. He’s a funny dude. He pretty much told everybody that he wants to take a final season for like a rocking chair tour haha. Great Eagle. Biggest defensive play in Eagles history. He’s a guy who almost didn’t make it to his second contract. His perseverance made him a leader. Like Kelce, Graham and Fletcher Cox were great vets to have around. I think if there’s strengths and weaknesses to what rams do a big reason for Eagles success is the culture and those guys embody that. Let’s see if the new dudes can accept the torch and carry it as well as those dudes.
Dead cap hit (obviously planned for I assume) will be $9M. Probably retires after 6/1 so it's split pretty much evenly over 2 years
