That's something for the local law enforcement to answer. I think they are clamming up just to make sure they don't make any mistakes.

No it's a local story and all the reports are saying the testing and investigation could take a month and that never made sense to me. When arrive at the accident and suspect alcohol was involved they test the driver at the scene, then perhaps another blood test at the station. But it never takes a month to determine if the driver was drunk.

Jordan Addison of the Vikes got busted for DUI. Passed out drunk behind the wheel.

He got busted last summer too for ridiculous driving. 140mph in a 55 zone.

Kid had a decent (good not great) rookie year and showed promise. But certainly trending WAY in the wrong direction with his off the field bullshit.

Terrible look to get busted for that right after one of his teammates died in a drunk driving wreck. He did have a good rookie year and is a promising receiver, hopefully he gets his act together off the field.

Eh, I'd say they got another year. Samuel can't stay healthy, I doubt CMAC stays healthy all season (he has a history and was used a lot last year), Williams is getting old, Kittle is always banged up...

I think their offense takes a serious blow losing Aiyuk...

I think the 49ers window closes in the next year or so unless they hit on their draft prospects. Their team is just getting a bit older and the wear and tear of routinely being in the playoffs is catching up with a lot of their star players. I can see what Orlovsky is saying to some degree.

It’s impossible to tell if a team will be a contender after this year IMO - you don’t know if injuries will have an impact, who they will draft, what trades will happen etc. As for this year, the Niners will be a Super Bowl contender with or without Aiyuk - obviously losing Aiyuk would be a blow but they still have a lot of talent. You can make a legitimate case for the Niners having the best overall roster in the NFL right now - my only concern about them is a possible hangover after losing the Super Bowl, that happens some.

Some of their other weapons are injury prone. Kittle is getting a little long in the tooth. Deebo gets banged up. CMC has had injury stuff. If they lose any one of them for considerable time then no Ayuik could be big.

That being said, nothing will come from this. The game is slanted so far in the direction of owners it isn’t funny. He has little to no leverage.

It may have been marijuana/drugs from one report I heard - I don’t know for sure. But it’s a bad look regardless.

Had a teammate die, wouldn’t be odd to take a medication for the first time immediately afterward.
