I'd say at this point it's a good idea to not have any 49ers in your lineup. SF is running on fumes at this point.
That might be a bit extreme..
Just last week Kittle had 150, Jennings and Guerendo scored twice.

They still have the ability to score points, they just might be a little more dependant upon who they're playing any given week

Some very questionable QB plays around the league today.

Of course, Aaron Rodgers decides to shine. ;)

Just sayin': Caleb Williams seems like a real little diva bitch.

That was my concern coming out of USC... the nails, the crying to momma,, various other little things.. just didn't seem to have that 'mental fortitude'.

We'll see if reality gives him some maturity between year 1 and 2

So not a Chicago dude. Still think they should have traded down and taken Penix.

BTW Penix went 5-0 against ranked teams last year. Williams went 0-4.

Don't think Penix will be a fantasy stud, but I think he'll be a winner in real football.

If Penix is worthy of his draft status, he'll certainly have the weapons to be a strong fantasy asset. Bijan, London, Pitts, Mooney, I would imagine they'll add another WR via draft/FA..
he certainly won't have any good excuses for not doing well.

Honestly, with Cousins inability to move the ball against a Raiders team without Crosby.. Penix should be given a shot now

haha..no doubts. But man, failing against my hapless Raiders, especially without Crosby- that's just definitive, no excuses can save you, there's no longer any if's and's or but's about it.

I think Penix may very well be the starter next year, but aren't the Falcons still playing for a playoff spot?

Tough to put a rookie who's barely played at all in a position like that.

This conversation hurts.
I have come around to Williams.
Far as I know, Williams takes the blame in his press conferences. Wont throw teammates under the bus.

And if his projections stay on target, he could end up with the 6th-best rookie season in Bears franchise history.
I mean, we are talking about the inept Bears. So that is noteworthy.

I went a little too far in my comments for sure, but I've just never seen an NFL quarterback act the way Caleb Williams does on the sidelines.

I love all of you guys.
No apologies necessary.
Youre entitled to your opinions. As fans, we see what we see, believe what we believe.

I will add that if you were to venture over to the "pit of dispair" otherwise known as the Bears message board, where there is always
QB controversy, surprisingly, most Bears fans like what we have in Caleb.

I am with you, I don't think he is a diva. I think that is exaggerated. Time will tell how good he is and for Bears' fans sake I hope he does become something more than noteworthy.

He reminds me of a HS kid.

But it’s a better look than when Cutler just didn’t care.

He needs to get the ball out quicker. And in time he’ll grow up. He’s young and his team seems to lack in leadership. Moore is a Captain and has some real awful body language himself.

My guess: Penix will be the best leader in this class, certainly the best of the Pac-12 three. Not the best thrower, not the best ff QB, but the best leader.

Pac-12 QBs against ranked teams last year:

Williams:
ND - L - 23/37 199 yds, 1 TD, 3 INTs
Utah - L - 24/34 256 yds, 0 TDs, 0 INTs
Wash - L - 27/35 312 yds, 3 TDs, 0 INTs
Ore - L - 19/34, 291 yds, 1 TD, 0 INTs
Overall: 0-4, 93/140 66.4%, 1058 yards, 5 TDs, 3 INTs

Bo Nix:
Colo - W - 28/33, 276 yds, 3 TDs, 1 INT
Wash - L - 33/44, 337 yds, 2 TDs, 0 INTs
Utah - W - 24/31, 248 yds, 2 TDs, 0 INTs
Ore St - W - 33/40, 367 yds, 2 TDs, 0 INTs
Ore - L - 21/34, 239 yds, 3 TDs, 1 INT
Overall: 3-2, 139/182 76.4%, 1467 yards, 12 TDs, 2 INTs

Penix:
Ore - W - 22/37, 302 yds, 4 TDs, 1 INT
USC - W - 22/30, 256 yds, 2 TDs, 1 INT
Utah - W - 24/42, 332 yds, 2 TDs, 0 INTs
Ore St - W - 13/28, 162 yds, 2 TDs, 0 INTs
Ore - W - 27/39, 319 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
Overall: 5-0 108/176 61.4%, 1371 yds, 11 TDs, 3 INTs
