I'll always prefer desktop/laptop/whatever, over the mobile apps. Yes I'll use the mobile app and yes it makes things more convenient, especially for those married owners whose wives always seem to 'randomly' schedule family events for as many of those 18 Sundays as they possibly can, but the other 34-35 weekends never seem to have anything going on..or is that just my life? But nothing beats the functionality of having everything right there on a nice big screen and being able to view multiple different things without accidently activating a friggin snap chat or tweet or tiktok or some such shit while trying to go from browser to app and back again

I basically just use the app for quick line up changes. Most any other time I want to view everything on desktop browser for the reasons you said. Everything is laid out much more clearly that way

Got to watch the Jags/Chargers games with one of my best friends who is a Jags fan last night. I spent the first half trying to talk him off the ledge and the second half high fiving and yelling with him. It was a lot of fun and good for the Jags. I don't think they will beat the Chiefs, but I think for the first time since Mark Brunell, Jimmy Smith, and Keenan McCardell were there the Jags fans have optimism looking toward next year even if they don't show up against the Chiefs.

My cousin was at the game. Having a lot of family in that area and having played high school ball with one of the original Jaguars I have a soft spot for them.

For the record, I do not believe this also.
That said, Doug Pederson worked under Andy Reid as the OC from 2013-2015.
In 2017, as head coach of the Eagles, he went head-to-head with KC and they tied.
Although, the Jags did play KC this year (wk 10) and lost 27-17.

Just saying...

Jags could easily be that sneaky scary team that no one figures to do much and then proceeds to knock off #1 & #2, and end up in the SB
A situation familiar to Pederson too btw

I wouldn't wager on it, but I respect Doug Pederson immensely.
I could see him reviewing the film from their previous meeting and finding windows of opportunity.

All the games have been pretty exciting. Especially considering we have backups to backups starting.

I think Pederson got a very raw deal in Philly, and they sided with the wrong half of the issue (Wentz) and then to compound it, sent him packing too.

The guy beat BB and Brady with Nick friggin Foles..that alone gives him about 5 second chances in my book.

I think the Jags are good but the Chiefs are probably a bad matchup for them. Engram and ETN seem to be the secret sauce to the Jags offense imo. Linebackers have to account for both and Lawrence makes really quick decisions. I think the Chiefs LBers, Gay and Bolton, should hold up. On the otherside I think the Jags LBs arent that good and Chiefs have Kelce and like to throw to RBs out of the backfield.

That said, KC has been known to blow playoff games. Andy Reid as well. I also except things to get chippy. Jags were trying to knock Chiefs players out in the regular season.

Oluokon is fast and a sure tackler, and behind that DL, that makes him pretty darn good imo. Might thwart some of the Kelce YAC machine magic

Jags actually stole 4 possessions from the Chiefs and still lost by 10 last time they played. Imo, if the Chiefs lose to the Jags its easily the worst loss of the Mahomes era.

Nobody gave the Dolphins a chance. Josh Alien showed mortal human behavior (and we can’t have that!!), but beating yourself is always an option. Whew.

Ravens were about to take the lead (what, was there like 4 minutes left or something?), but instead of handing it off at the goal line they tried the long leap over top…fumble, 98 yard return.

Obviously, I’d prefer the Jags over the Bengals next week, but OTOH, I’d rather be nervous about beating a good team by playing well, than nervous about losing to an underdog by playing poorly (overconfident).

Didn't they lose to the Colts this year???

Well, yeah, but playoff games matter more.

Really, though, the Chiefs are crazy young on defense. 4-5 rookies could be out there at any given time and Bolton also year 2 so thats basically half of the defense that an offensive minded head coach could try to mess with. As a Chiefs fan, you just kinda have to be happy that they re-tooled their team to deal with the rise of top tier WRs in the AFC but if the Jags come in and go 'hey, I bet you miss Tyreek Hill right now' then it just is what it is.
