Gives you some renewed faith in Edmunds eh? I noticed that as well.

I’ve been hard on him. Often citing his run defense/lane attacks. It kind of overlooked the fact that he was a starting MLB playing every snap as a 20 year old.

He missed time this year, and I’m glad he did, because his presence was noticeably absent. He’s only 24 and keeps getting better.

Now I’m terrified we won’t resign him because I’m sure there will be interested parties.

anyone making adjustments based on the winter weather this weekend?

outdoor games in the midwest and east are going to have negative wind chills and some expecting rain/snow/strong winds
I'm trying to, but since the weather is kind of shitty across the entire country it's making it very difficult.

well I had already completed the major one on my list that Treff mentioned - kickers

going for a guy kicking in a dome this week over any outdoor games and hoping for 2-3 FGs

The weather is certainly a major concern for a lot of guys in the upper tiers. .... at this point waivers are pretty much exhausted - leaving the just hope it not as bad as advertised. ...

I tried that last week and started Wil Lutz over Tyler Bass. Lutz - 3 points, Bass 6 points.

Snow held off until 4th qtr for Bills last week, but yeah, every plan has a percent chance it goes tits up

But since I have Carlson in most of my leagues I'm pivoting to Joseph or McLaughlin, hope the home dome combo does better than freezing rain game

For all people that started Bam Knight tonight, or pretty much any Jet on offense. I feel your pain.

There's a rule that says "don't start any Jets when Zach Wilson starts". If you broke that rule, you had it coming.

IDPers...

I must be slipping because I should have thought of this earlier. How do you feel about Marcus Jones (CB from NE)? He returns kicks and punts and is getting touches on offense now. He has been averaging 15 ppg in my league since they starting using him on offense. I would dump either Justin Simmons or Jaquan Brisker for him.

Seems like a potential IDP gold mine, especially for leagues who require DB/CB slots

when he 1st got his couple catches & that long TD catch.
I looked into him, but at that point he was to inconsistent & not really scoring any points on Defense.
In my league we have DB's / LB's / DL (2 of each) So my main thing is consistent points for my DB's & LB's over the feast or famine point totals. So I passed on him. He managed to keep getting TDs however. Tackles is the best way for consistent points & in his last game he had 12 solo tackles.
So if he is available still I would go get him if I were you. Obviously his defensive use has ramped up from early on.
In fact. Reading this post, I checked my team. Budda Baker just broke his shoulder.
I am making my waiver wire for him right now going into the championship game . Thanks for reminding me. :thumb:

Yeah... I put in a bid on him. Since this is the last week, I can dump Mattison instead and just worry about whether to start him over the other guys.

Bruh, wtf
In one league I'm in, I'm gonna be in the 3rd place game. Been streaming defenses. This week I was looking at Jax or NYG. So I put waiver claim for RB (Allgeier) and then both defenses knowing I'll get one. Guy in the championship game and ahead of me in waivers claimed BOTH of those defenses. It's not like he did it to block his opponent from playing a good defense either as that person has Dallas (vs a shitty Ten team) and hasn't played anyone other than Dallas except during their bye week. I could respect it if it was clear block, but its not. Who the fuck does that? Wtf are you gonna do rostering two defenses? In hindsight I guess I should have put priority on defense since the RB move was more about just in case depth, but seriously, I never thought anybody would bother rostering both defenses at the same time for no reason.
