This morning I picked up several pieces of Dallas and/or Homer for free in redraft after waivers ran if I had some space for the matchup with Carolina. Walker had a non-contact injury that they aren't clearly defining yet but sent him for an MRI....sounds like it is more serious than they are letting on at this moment but I could be wrong
I'm not sure I like your negativity.

Well it's fucking Pete Carroll so he could have a torn ACL, broken fibula, and third degree burns to 90% of his body and Carroll would say that he hasn't ruled him out this week yet, that he looks good, and has a good shot to play. That guy takes coachspeak bullshit when it comes to injuries to a new level.

Almost as bad as hockey. Basically there are 2 kinds of injuries. Upper body. Lower body. You dont get any other details.

Kinda suprised the NFL hasnt picked up on that ambiguity.

I think the NFL has a completely ambiguous process of levying fines and punishments for not adequately disclosing injury information.

Who/how they determine a violations beats the hell outta me, but that'd be my guess as to why stuff like that isn't more widespread

Perhaps it's just me, but it seems there's a lot of TE love in week 14. .....

Chargers D, replete with backups, looking like the '85 Bears in the first half vs. Tua and the Fins.

Did they see something in last week's 49ers/Fins game?

This 2nd half will be very interesting.

Well, Tyreek sees how this game is going. He's out.

If fortunes change, I wonder if he'll make a miraculous comeback?

Edit: I guess he's back in. :pound::pound::pound:

thursday night punishment

so... in one of my money leagues, i have lost my best players, but still playoff bound... I was probably the best team in the league for the first 6 weeks... was 5-1 but had the most points... now i am 9-4 and my team looks like the team that anyone will be lucky to face in the first round.... and because of this i did not think i would be able to get the first round playoff bye, as i dont own any tie breakers, and the other teams are just so much better...

well going into this week 3 of the 6 playoff teams were 9-4, where one will get the bye... including me

Like i said, i dont own any of the tie breakers, so i just assumed that one of the other teams would win...

well, both of the 9-4 teams had an awful week this week... one is still alive and needs Hopkins to score 19 or more points in a PPR(which is very possible)

which gives me a chance to have gotten the bye with a win... i am down 25+ points... and i have Hollywood left...

But here is why i got punished for my thursday mistake... I had full intention to drop Kyren williams, but not only did i forget to do that, i also forgot that i had him in my starting role.... and to be even worse, i had him as flex... so i was stuck not just using him, but not being able to start a 4th WR...

this is partially hindsight, and me remembering one of the players who i was thinking of signing... and just assuming i would have signed him... but the player i think i was going to add and start instead of kyren was Chris Moore.... and he got 22.4 points this week.... which is about 18 more points than Kyren....

i deserve to lose because of that mistake.... But heres to Hollywood WIN ME THE GAME!!!

Vent over....

Gotta give it to Mike White; dude got folded like an accordion numerous times by Buffalo, but he kept on coming back.

Can't help but admire and root for a guy like that.

so tonights 49ers vs Seahawks is going to be a great game...

But fantasy wise- if the 49ers win they will clinch their division... with near zero chance of being the one seed or the 4 seed... that means they will either be the 2 or 3.....

That also means, they will not have to face the cowboys(really the only scary wild card team)...

With all that, they are banged up right now... and CMC is one of those players that always seems to be banged up... no matter what...

so my question is IF they win tonight does that make Jordan Mason a must have for every fantasy playoff team??? will CMC be relegated to a 50/50 committee?? or even worse??

clear handcuffs on productive teams are always 'must-have' bench stashes at this time of year

Mason, Deon Jackson, Mattison, Hunt, Jaylen Warren, Perine...these guys (i'm sure I'm missing a few too) are all looking like they'll inherit major workloads if the starter gets hurt and should be rostered if you have space and are trying to get ahead of the playoff waiver crunch

now might be a good time to revisit Allgeier for the Falcons too, as they turn to Ridder, they will probably be extremely run-heavy

i know... but i am more talking about because the team if they win tonight has basically nothing to play for for the rest of the season... so even if CMC is healthy, i think mason may become the RB 1 there....

prioritize him if he's still available, I have him stashed already in a couple leagues cause SF running game is a proven fantasy point scoring machine

One thing I would consider...
IF they rest starters, whose to say Mason isn't also 'rested'?,, and they turn to Tevin Coleman and Davis-Price? If Mason is getting 10 touches a game by design, why would they risk him, if they're resting everyone else?

One of the announcers on the Vikings/Colts game, speaking about the Vikings said: "I'll never call a team soft".

Well, he just did.

It's something that's been on my mind the past few weeks.

I'm sure a number of fantasy managers heart sank when Taylor went down without a single point. :sad2:
