exactly - what he did was deplorable, but in the heat of the moment during an intense competition, people do crazy things.

and you know without a doubt that Garrett was talking shit on Rudolph the entire game, since he spent most of it in their backfield. Rudolph let things get to him that he shouldn't, made a mistake, and Garrett took it to the next level, making an even dumber mistake that could possibly result in him being banned for a full season.

latest news is that he's suspended indefinitely.

without a doubt, 100% didn't put him on IR just to fuck with fantasy community.
pretty sure the NFL told Cincy that they weren't allowed to IR him so that all of us would bitch about it all year. mission accomplished.

NFL suspended Browns DE Myles Garrett indefinitely for violating the league's unnecessary roughness and unsportsmanlike conduct policies.
He's also been fined an undisclosed amount. Garrett will be suspended for the remainder of 2019 (postseason included) and will have to meet with commissioner Roger Goodell in order to gain reinstatement after removing Mason Rudolph's helmet and using it as a weapon late in Thursday night's victory over Pittsburgh. Rudolph luckily wasn't hurt in the attack, though his agent suggested he could pursue legal action. A former No. 1 pick and an All-Pro selection as recently as last year, Garrett is already among the league's top pass-rushers. Losing him is a major blow to Cleveland's defense. Maurkice Pouncey (three games) and Larry Ogunjobi (one game) have also been suspended for their roles in Thursday's melee while the Browns and Steelers have each been assessed $250,000 fines.
