So stupid.... when coaches do this. If you take the timeout now the clock stops at 2 minutes (assuming you stop them) regardless. Otherwise the O gets to run off another 3-4+ seconds post 2 minute warning for the play to develop (which usually results in another 1-2 seconds by the time the whistle occurs).
