I'd probably go with an offensive lineman or try to trade back to accumulate a few more picks.

Blue - I think the most pro-ready prospects at the tenth position are OLB's Shaq Thompson and Vic Beasley. I doubt that an offensive lineman we need/want will drop that far. Anyways, it's about time we find an eventual replacement for Dunbar and give the linebacker corps some depth.

For pick #2 - Hundley, Petty, Cody Kessler (if he leaves USC early), Kurt Warner (if he comes out of retirement), Roman Gabriel (if he's still alive), Warren Beatty (if he can reprise his role as a QB), or your local semi-pro!

Just my early thoughts!

SI just posted an updated mock and they had J. Winston falling to us at 10. Not likely but possibly if Tenn at 2 goes with the top pass rusher. The Jets at 6 would really be the only team that needs a QB but maybe they get cold feet to take a chance on him with the 6th pick because there will be a lot of good players on the board still.

I'd be shocked if Winston fell past the Jets.

The big thing of note is that the bottom 6 teams all have pathetic offenses like the Rams. Teams 7, 8 and 9 all need defense.

So you've got 3 elite pass rushing prospects, 1 run stuffing prospect, a debatable list of 2-5 Oline prospects, a debatable list of 2 elite QB prospects, 1 elite RB, 1 elite S and 1-4 elite WR prospects.

I'm guessing that the top 2 QBs, the top 2 OTs and Cooper will all be gone for sure. Williams and Gregory will also likely be gone.

Ray might be there at 10, Beasley almost undoubtedly will be. The #2 WR might be there (lets say Devante Parker) and the #3 WR probably will be (lets say Kevin White). In this scenario, Rams should draft one of the WRs or move down for offensive line help.

So my guess is 'trade down for La'el Collins or some other OT'. Teams will want to trade up for either Shane Ray, Melvin Gordon, #3 WR or Vic Beasley. One of those players might be gone but the other 3 will likely be on the board. I think if they are stuck at that spot then they'll probably grab oline anyways because the other players dont make sense.

Good points Clayton I agree. Unless the Rams top Tackle/guard or QB is there they will be looking to trade back some to recoup some picks. If we don't resign Britt We better look strong at WR Parker because you don't know what u have in Quick with that terrible injury.

That's what I was wondering. But as for who we pick, best offensive lineman available. I wouldn't mind a QB being picked after that.

Ya, it's kind of like fantasy football, all the studs are gone, and you're left picking someone that you "hope" has a big year!

And two more words: Robert Quinn

I'm not ridiculously impressed by the depth of this year's draft class but the first 15-20 prospects should all be promising if they develop.

I think our draft will be dictated by whether we bring back Britt or whether we bring back Barksdale. If we bring them both back then maybe go after a QB somehow :noidea:

I'm ok with Britt, but let Barksdale walk. He is only average at best. We will have a shot at a stud RT in the draft/FA. Barksdale isnt that great, I got tired of watching Calais Campbell and comp. hand his ass to him on several occasions. We need to fix this!

Barksdale was fine with Saffold next to him. His production went down when Joseph came in.

my #10 picks go in order
J.Winston
A. Cooper
Shaq Thompson (which is who I think we should take because theres no was Winston and cooper make it to 10)
V. Beasley

Robinson sucks at tackle but would be a good guard imo Should have taken Sammy Watkins but I did get my Donald pick I wanted.

Still hate the we traded up and drafted a midget when we could have had
Cordarrelle Patterson, Ogeltree and Laveon Bell....this was my 1st and 2nd round picks that year... How is it this hard watch the film rams staff please stop going to the combine
