Yea BattleLyon, methinks DWill needs a few weeks rest and it will give the Rams an opportunity to bring in a committee of players that need to be called on to get in and play. Guys like Long and Rochelle, Deayon and Orr who will probably be activated from the PS. There is also J.R. Reed. That is why the Gilmore deal would have been ideal for us. Just a stupid move on McSnead's part for doing nothing, but these other dudes I suppose will fill-in nicely. Rave reviews on Deayon and Orr. Long's days maybe numbered as he just has been stinking it up recently. So we shall see.

1) they both got their money. So you never know where the motivation is at with these guys

2) Donald and Ramsey make everyone look good including the DC

3) Cleveland QB licked balls early in that game yesterday so that doesn’t help much.

Rams D could very well be top 3 at some point again soon with this schedule coming up. That’s what that ranking never tells you… the schedule

I expect more big plays from the young guys. Rapp had a great game. Rochelle got his first INT and Terrell Lewis has a sack in 3 straight games. Ernest Jones and Terrell Burgess got some clock and Donte Deayon I’ve always liked.

You make some very good points @SJ76!

But I don't give two licks about their rankings as much as I care about their performance in the big games, that's what the schedule 'does' tell you!

So I'm circling two dates for sure, 11/28 & 12/13, and I 'm not overlooking 11/15!

That's Packers, Redbirds & Whiners for those of you playing along!

Finding a way is right, as it's been mostly 4 man fronts!

This BBDB defense leans heavily on 99 and company to do some work!
I honestly hate BBDB defenses with a passion..... i call it pussy ball... Never liked it ever since that 2nd superbowl against them Patriots when coach dipshit decided to bend all the way to a Pats FG to win the game....

Well 2 out of 3 of the games you mentioned have very good QBs. You already know how hard it is to keep A Rogers contained and you saw Kyler recently. Not sure what you expect from our D. I would hope a lot of pressure and good coverage . Offense has to help keep the D off the field too

tell me about it... i rather get burned trying to destroy Brady than letting him pick us apart in that shitty cover 2
Yeah, but in all fairness, Brady was best known for the Tuck rule at that point and time (Ironically that's what got them to that Super Bowl), and not the guy we all know now.

And the Pats D got away with a lot of holding in the game on the WR’s and Faulk that was never called.

And that doesn’t even mention the fact they probably had tape on the Rams practices. Look at the first 20-30 plays in that SB and it is quite obvious the Pats D knew what was being run.

Good one ALR, so PC in your take, and in that vein I'll add.........

And if they did, (they did) the NFL probably destroyed the tapes because there was nothing there to to see.

What I didn't understand was, if Martz knew their D knew what was coming for the first quarter, why didn't he change it up. Call something different and get out of the script? That is where Martz failed just like McVay failed by not knowing the Jumbo when faced with the 46 D by Belicheat!
