Can we all agree the biggest weakness last year was Reeder or over the middle on defense? Now we get B Wagner with Ernest Jones in year 2 — look out. Run D should be stout

And Jones is going to learn a lot more. He’s going to be a really good if not great ILB for years.
facts, BW is 1000x better than reeder. Good riddens finally! 3/4 LBs are legit. We can pick the others during the draft.

And the draft has some really good LBs in Day Three. But what will be even better is A-Rob is better at the run, so is Gaines and along with AD, both are way better at the pass rush. Now add Floyd, Hollins, Lewis, Garrett, Brown and the other Brown and our D has not lost much with all of the departures.

Expect to see more playing time this year from this guy as well as Hollins, Garrett, Lewis, Rochelle, Fuller, and both Browns.

The Rams may be building an epic defense for 22. They sure look good on paper. They also look good on the O-line as well. Can you say run it back.

eh... idk what it is but i cringe when i see these 6'0 215lb LBs, we need some thumpers in the 240' 250 range.

We got one in Wagner (older) but you are right, Jermaine, we need more of them but Morris does not think that is the case in his defense.

yeah they like the whole idea of having a Safety type hybrid player who can do both..but i also don't want a LB who can't shed blocks and gets lost in the commotion either.

A lot of teams use the nickel as their base defense these days. With the emphasis on the passing game, coverage ability is more important than an extra run stuffer. Finding the unique players that can do both is huge.
