Raiders: Are They Leaving Oakland Again?

Their stadium is a shithole and so is Oakland.

When I moved to the bay I went to a few Raiders/A's games. The experience at 49'rs and Giants games are so much better, even if the seats were shitty.

And the so called roughness of the Raiders fans is a total myth.

The A's games there are pretty good, OC sports baseball better, imo.

I got nothing against the teams. Even went to a few A's game when they were making it to the ALCS(only to watch them lose). But the stadium itself is awful, and so is the area itself.

I think it's completely stupid that public money goes to fund these things in the first place (help the billionaires fun), and I think it's a bald-faced lie to say the public gets more back on a "return" on the investment (it only goes to a tiny slice of the local population), but it's what people want I guess.

I have argued this point for years, but people have their own opinion on the matter.

The jobs created are mostly temporary or seasonal, and a lot of them are actually short-term construction while the stadium is actually being built. Those jobs don't continue after the facility is completed.

The influx of cash to businesses in the area might be great on gameday or when there's another event happening, but what about when the facility is dark? Those areas are usually ghost towns that nobody would be caught dead in unless there's a game.

I'd like to see a Raiders-Rams football stadium in LA. It would make more sense than Chargers and Raiders because one of them would have to switch conferences, whereas in the case of the Rams, they are already in the NFC.

I think the Raiders should move to Milpitas to share the hers stadium. At least one of those teams would be improving and they could help the hers pay the rent.....
