Colts look like they need to beat the Patriots, Raiders and Jaguars to have a shot at the playoffs. That said, I wouldn't be stunned if the Ravens totally collapsed and that let either them or the Steelers into the playoffs.

titans are a mess right now but has easier schedule so colts can catch them but will be tough

Titans are effectively 3 games ahead of the Colts. If the Titans beat the Jags and Texans then the Colts arent catching them. Thats a really tall task imo.

Yeah, I cant say I predicted that but they've been hit really hard with injuries in general. At some point their luck was bound to flip.

Yeah if you have the cahoonas to go for 2 to win a game, instead of an xtra pt to go into OT, you get a reprieve and get the kick if you dont make it

Bills finish with Patriots, Panthers, Falcons, Jets. If they show up then they're in. 10-7 seems probable.
Colts have 2 tough games against the Pats and Cardinals. They win one of those games then they're in. Otherwise they're probably out unless the AFC fails to produce another good team.

Broncos v Bengals probably knocks the loser completely out of the playoffs. Both teams still have to play the Chiefs. I think both teams are most likely out. I think I like the Browns odds better than both.

If the Steelers make the playoffs then no one will want to play them. Their remaining schedule is basically a SB run.

Its very realistic that we'll be looking at a 9-8 team as the 7th seed in the AFC. Possibly also the 6th seed if the Ravens fall.


I'm looking at the AFC in general and thinking that the dropoff to get to the Super Bowl is after Tennessee (w Henry), New England, and Kansas City. Buffalo and Baltimore are too one-dimensional imo and their olines will eventually cost them. Colts might also be too one-dimensional but I trust their oline and RB more than most teams. Titans, Patriots and Chiefs have all been playing great D lately, though. Chiefs probably the worst bad weather team of the three and probably the clear 3rd place team if Henry comes back for Tennessee.

edit - forgot about the Chargers. They can definitely make a SB run.
