Question for the Jason Peter radio listeners

I was asked a couple months ago about the possibility of bringing in Jason Peter to Omaha radio. I said that I never listened to his short lived show in Lincoln so really don't know. I have to say that after listening to the new morning show with Jason and Gary Sharp and really hoping that it would be good and succeed, I am completely done with that show. I won't even turn it on anymore. It is absolutely awful!!!!! Sharp is the worst thing I have heard on the radio next to Jim Rose.

My question is, how was Jason's show in Lincoln? Was it this bad?

I loved the spread. This show is apparently more doom and gloom husker/bo bashing than even Jed can handle.

I think it'll take a little time for them to develop chemistry, but Shick and Nick frankly blows them out of the water.

It's not even because Jason is so negative all the time, I just think they conduct crappy interviews and their discussions suck.

Half the time there is this awkward tension because Jason will say something ridiculous and Sharp has to cover for him.

Sharp doesn't know jack shit about football either.

I listened for about 2 hours the other day. Very disappointing. Deleted the bookmark as I will never be back to listen again.

I looked forward to the fun that Schick and Nick always had on their show. JP is just a plain ass boring sports talk. Nick could have carried the show with another host, maybe one of the fella's who filled in on occasion.

It's not about the doom and gloom Bo bashing stuff. I couldn't give 2 shits about that. As long as it is what he believes then fine. Brutal honesty is something Husker fans can't handle. I know that first hand. The show is just bad!!!!

Jason is a thin skinned bully ex jock that is stuck in his bad boy days mentality. He can not take criticism and in a gig like this he needs thicker skin.

Sharp is just a complete idiot. His puking radio voice is unbearable and his sports comments are astoundingly bad. He is less tolerable to listen to than Lou Holtz talking about Notre Dame winning the national title every year.

Sports talk radio in my mind is about reaction from the listeners and getting responses from the audience. They are getting very little interaction and response of what they are talking about that when they turn down reaction and say they are moving on from a topic that is actually generating a response is an absolute joke.

I really wanted to give it more time to gell and get into the football season but after 1 week I will not turn it back on. I just can't do it. And anything that gets me to actually want to listen to Colin Cowturd? That shows how bad of a show that is.

I am not crying for Schick and Nick to come back because I know that is not happening with Schick at ESPN. But I just want even decent local sports talk radio and now all that is left to listen to in this city is USC from 2-6.

if ESPNU was smart they would hire Bahe and give those two a half hour daily show. those two had more chemistry than just about any sports show hosts i've ever seen/heard. we were lucky to have them around for the time that we did.

They always make me feel like we're way better than we really are.........which is good because it gets me through the week at least until we lose to a team like Northwestern at the end of the week.

which is exactly why I can't listen to them. They are bought and sold by the university propaganda spin machine!!!! I need honesty. Whether it is positive or negative I don't care. As long as it is honest and your true feelings and opinions.

I haven't listened to it for a couple of years. It is entertainingly horrible!!!!! Those callers are the absolute worst callers of all time.

Nick's contract expired on august 1st. If there was a non compete in his former contract then he wouldn't have been able to cohost the show on the ticket for those couple of days.
