When have I ever even said Scotty and Schwartz were good? Fuck, the only time I remember "elite" getting thrown around this board was in reference to the guy who this thread says isn't the problem. (I didn't agree, have a hunch a couple of the guys who threw "elite" out there wouldn't anymore either.)

Besides stop who else said he was elite? I know a lot of people myself including think he has much, much more potential to be elite than any other quarterback that the lions have had or would have or would get if they got rid of him.

I stand behind my assessment of Stafford. He's in the second tier of quarterbacks (except now I'd put him mid to low rather than high) and if he had continued to play like he had in the first half of the season we'd all be calling him elite. I really think there is a chance that a new OC can do wonders. Linny is trash.
