Accepting Tomlin is staying is also accepting that the diva ego that has run rampant through this locker room will remain as well. Yeah, arriving to practice in a nice new car or helicopter every year is funny. Yeah football is a sport that people love so much they get emotional about it or they rant to the media every so often. But at the end of the day, if you do those things year in and year out and have NO trophies to show for it, something ain't right and something has to change and it's gotta change from the top down.
Okie dokie. I guess call Colbert and Rooney and talk to them. Isn’t happening

And we wonder why this franchise is where it is right now with the egos and public contract disputes and diva mentality. We as fans just accept it because it's our team.

What? You're the one who said it. It won't change. Why's that? Because our FO doesn't know how to adapt to today's NFL.
But it’s not gonna change with tomlin. We know that much. They said that much

tomlin isnt going anywhere

I'm not accepting anything with this underachieving team! You're avatar displays a Steelers dumpster fire. Mike Tomlin is responsible for the majority of it.

Munch has been a godsend since he came here... but all good things come to an end sooner or later. I’m shocked he hasn’t been poached sooner than this.

As OJB said, only chance he sticks around is if he doesn’t want to take on a HC position again.

If he's entertaining offers again only a yr after turning down an offer just last year...that tells me he's more interested now than maybe this time LY.

Yes, it would suck for the PIT OFC, but he's earned another shot and you can't blame him if he takes one of them if offered.

Ownership is dumb enough not to fire Tomlin. However, the noise is getting louder and louder. And with the way this latest AB blowup was handled, a change could come sooner than we might think.

I hope so.

I'd give Munch a chance over Tomlin. Maybe Tenn was wrong place, wrong time.

Rooney has to take control. Only way to assert that is cut off the head.

Boomer Esiason on his radio show today says he knows Mike Munchak, and that he isn't happy here under Tomlin, but he's not one to rock the boat while he's employed.

He wants to get out, and would love to go to Denver.

Nope, wouldn’t blame him at all. I’d wish him nothing but the best. He’s far too good a coach to be kept down to a position coach level.

I just hope that Alan Faneca is ready to step in if he does pull up anchor!

I wish him well. He'll probably get a job...if it's DEN, I'm thinking he will get 2-3 yrs at best with Elway.

But you have to try again imo.

That's sad to hear, but understandable. Tomlin's ego would be hard to be around every year. I'd probably want to punch him a lot.

Munch is going to be missed, and the hole he leaves will be immediately apparent. Steelers O-line is about hit an influx of sorts. Foster, Gilbert, Pouncey... They have pieces to work with, but assuming they will perform up to their previous level of play without Munch is a stretch of the imagination.

Ryan Clark mentioned a 2012 incident in which AB cussed out Dick LeBeau in front of everyone and Tomlin did nothing about it. Seems like Tomlin created this problem in (AB) and let him get away with anything and everything.

Either Tomlin has to go, AB has to go or both before next season begins.

Fangio is getting the Denver job. Munch is safe in Pittsburgh for now.

Now give him a huge raise, and the Asst. HC title.

Tomlin can't change the culture, a leopard doesn't change it's spots.

Munch can.

Seems like the rumors were true...Elway wanted Kubiak back in the fold as OC and Fangio will handle the DEF...not sure who Munchak was bringing with him, but Kubiak tipped the scales to Fangio I think.

So....for now PIT gets to keep coach Munch...that's a plus. I'm not sure what the Asst. HC title will do to change the culture around the place as long as Tomlin is there, but they should be throwing him some extra cash.

AB...they need to have a big pow wow...Tomlin, AB, and Ben. Sort out the BS once and for all, and if that can't be done, they need to trade Brown for the best deal they can get.
