Put a nice heavy coat of kosher salt, black pepper and granular garlic on all sides. Cook it fat side up. 325 for 2.5 hours should do if its a whole lip-on ribeye. Take it out a few degrees before your desired temp and let that baby rest for 20 mins or so.

I love them that way very easy. For the heck of it the one time added a little smoked paprika and the kids loved them. You have to use good smoked paprika to get that good smokey flavor/smell.

who needs a recipe... good meat should always get the minimum amount of treatment... just salt pepper and other seasoning...

bit vague.

On steaks and burgers en sech, I agree with you, but on a prime rib roast, there better be thyme, rosemary, garlic, on that crust and in that juice or Ima be pissed. I'll still eat it, but angrily.

And a big bowl of horseradish. (and if you mix sour cream with it, I will cut you.)

Get ya about 3 lbs of Himalayan salt dump in bar pan.

Find cookie rack, place in bar pan, or anything that will hold the roast above the salt.

Place in fridge at 37 degrees let
Sit for 30 days.

Cut off dried brown crust off the roast exposing raw meat.

Blend together
Olive oil, cloved garlic, rosemary, thyme, black pepper.
Cover roast

Put in smoker, I like to cook it
Until 125 degrees. Let it sit for a bit, carve and enjoy.?
