Thought we had agreed to keep the GDT's to a reg (no offense)? And we start them on the actual game day, no?

Edit: Ha, not trying to pick on the OP, I had an old window up that didn't have all the other posts when I made mine.

I nominated Bingo and someone seconded it, but then Bingo never accepted (nor rejected). Therefore, I nominate you next, then Threelittlebirds, and then someone else. I'll do it if asked, but don't think I will unless someone asks because I said I wouldn't be asked. Calamity did it in 2011. Ray did it in 2012. (Or do I have those switched?)

Pozz does not rotate. He does the Games Note Thread.

Well Im learning guys. This was just a test to see if you guys like the how I do the thread. Anything else I need to know? So first post is just the Icon with one sentence. I was told just to put it in the 1st post.

Is the Title ok? or is there a certain way you want the title. Also when the regular season starts when do you guys post the next game. On monday or Sunday night?

Not saying I will get picked just wanted to know when it comes out.

Oh, as far as post game threads, that usually is a collection of 6-8 different threads made by people who think (some correctly and some incorrectly) that their take is both unique and/or the only one that counts. It's funny that we haven't a tradition for that... or maybe the tradition is no tradition. It's like a spontaneous touchdown dance (or the opposite) - too rehearsed is to bleh. Plus, depending on the game's result, a regular person charged with the thread may be celebrating, moping, broken their computer, drunk, etc. Drunk posts are good sometimes.

As far as that goes, I think the outcome of the game and our mood that day (frustration with the refs, a given player, coaches, etc.) dictates how we proceed with the post game comments. For instance, my post game thread for the superbowl would be how sucked Culliver is and he is to blamed for the lost, some may piggyback on that or create a different thread about how the "blackout" caused us to regain momentum. Or another poster may decide to focus on the last game of the thread (punt, our players being held). Or the non-call pass interference pass against Crabtree. Again, we just go by the flow - but I would welcome a change in 2013-14 in having an actual official post game day thread.

I didn't realize the nomination, my bad! I didn't mean to ignore you. Thanks for Nominating me bro. But I respectfully decline. More to do with me being superstitious than anything else...

I don't care who accepts this nomination but I would prefer the person indeed being a reg (so we can assure of us having that consistency). If not, then the person must have the NFL Package - being able to view all 16 games within a given week.

Anyone with recommendations on streaming site recommendations please PM me. May try and borrow a friends iPad to download NFL Preseason ticket but no guarantees there...

Cam Johnson(i think we all agree nearly all of us were excited with his selection in the 7th) is someone to look for... throw in Lemonade as well for me in terms of OLB.

Ian with the first unit should be something special and maybe pivotal for us fans in terms of feeling confident at the NT position in the starters unit. Also Dorsey to see if he can improve his game from his KC days.

See which god damn WR can somewhat make us feel relieved or hopeful?(outside of boldin naturally)

Some of us likes to see how Boldin fits into our system. I miss Crabtree already.

It's crazy how we're missing Crabtree so much this year when this time last year he was pretty much just getting shit for being an underperformer and missing pre-season again. That change is similar (in other direction) to how Nnamdi fell off the face of the earth in just a few years.

NFL Network is jumping from game to game.

Washington's defense looks bad, and just watched the Rams put together a nice scoring drive. Big bomb from Bradford to set it all up.

I'm late to this, so apologies if this has been posted. NFL.com has a preseason package (NFL Preseason Live) where you can watch any preseason game live or later on demand. It's $20, but if you use "directv" as a redeem code, it's only $15. Not terrible for the die hards. I did it last year when I wasn't able to catch the games.
