I was surprised last year no team wanted him before camp even started. He played pretty well for us. Tackle machine. Not great speed but he got to the ball. Was a little weird to me last year when nobody signed him until after the season started. (Vikings signed him to their PS last year and cut him soon after) some guys just lose it quickly I guess. As you know he is older then some people may realize because of his legal trouble at Tennessee which cost him a few years to sort out but still he had been playing well for us.

I think in his case he should be happy to be on a PS as he was just signed to Fangio's squad about a week ago. It is rather odd how he has had a hard time catching on anywhere else since his Denver days. He had an injury that year but had played well for us. Glad he is on a PS and back with Fangio.

Lucas Krull had 7 catches, 106 yards in his final PS game and had an outstanding PS for the Saints. Highly recruited coming out of High School. Was a Former Florida Gator who transferred to Pitt. Guessing the Saints are a little upset they lost him to another teams Practice Squad. This is a move to keep an eye on as he develops. Very legit... Should have been drafted, IMO.. Got lost in a deep TE room at Florida.

After a year on the team my best guess and this is way early but Nate Adkins will take the Manhertz role as our blocking TE next year. Gives him a year to learn and adapt to life in the NFL while learning from a vet like Manhertz.
