With Sills and Dorsett signing guessing Grimes and Montrell Washington and Hinton. None of the 3 are coming back to our PS. Think Callaway will and that would make 4 WR's on the PS.

Sills is interesting. Had a huge college career at WV. Bounces from team to team since. Looks like Payton wants some experience though on the PS at WR. Not going with the younger guys. Bandy played a lot for the Chargers last year.

Something to keep in mind is the NFL is letting teams keep an extra player on PS if they are an international player and part of the push to encourage teams to look beyond the United States. So Haggai Ndubuisi does not count against the 16 needed for a PS.

Who is not on the PS?

Montrell Washington- As much as I wanted to see this guy succeed here, I get it. If he can't win the return duties are you really going to carry him on the roster for his WR skills? Probably not. Hope he lands elsewhere and turns into a fine return man. Reminds me a bit of the Isaiah McKenzie cut. Guy I think could help us but under a new staff and not being one of their guys they are out getting their own.

Seth Benson, LB, Iowa- Really wish he had made the PS but his upside is sorta meh. Very good LB at Iowa just lacks the athletic ability to ever make an impact at the NFL level as he doesn't strike me as a special teams guy. Smart player. Should get another look but I get it.

Faion Hicks, CB, Wisconsin- a CB I was never that high on college. Was a tad surprised yet ok with us drafting him. Never saw much action last week. When we needed to elevate CB's it was always the other guy on the PS. McMillianm etc. McMillian was cleary ahead of this guy from the first day of camp last year. I understand giving up on him. He will land on another PS at some point but I can't see him with much active game time in the NFL. Rooting for him though.

Kendall Hinton, WR, New staff. 4 years of Hinton here it just seemed like the staff was going in another direction and maybe telling Hinton it was best for him to go in another direction. He will resurface I am confident in that. I think he will survive a few more years in the NFL off and on PS..... and that is simply awesome for a guy who was a QB most of his career in college, was cut before his first PS game his rookie year, brought back later in the year then started an NFL game at QB.... He will play another game but if he didn't... He did what he did and should be happy with that.
