Yeah. He hit her. His atty has said as much.
The only way I could find fault with him is if he struck her first or if the altercation was over and he struck her a given time later. In other words she was no longer being a physical aggressor.
If his punch was thrown in the course of her attacking him, he should be fine.
Okay, I must've missed that. His atty statement said he defended himself. He did not say he specifically punched her. Don't know what that means.
Like I said, he's obviously cooperating with Norman PD, and if they were going to arrest him they would've done it when he walked into the station to give his statement. Obviously his atty feels like the law is clearly on his side since he asked for charges to be filed against the girl.
