Correct. It's not an OU thing. Dude hasn't even suited up for a game yet. We've just lost 2 kids that I was glad to see let go awaiting r*pe charges. Awful. If they somehow truly are innocent, then let the legal system play out. However, during that time I don't want them anywhere near my team. If they are acquitted or she changes her story, etc... then maybe they can come back one day or elsewhere. Besides, one of Charlie's rules is to treat women with respect. I don't think gang banging a young girl and secretly recording it quite lives up to that (even if it wasn't r*pe). So they can gtfo.

With Mixon, the only thing I care about is if it was his fist that broke her face. I don't care if she slapped him or spit in his face. No way a dude who is wanting to make a living running into 300lb+ dudes is scared of being greatly injured by a 120lb white chick.

So what is the latest on this story??? Can't seem to find anything that is solid. Did the chick hit him first? Why are the police waiting to charge Mixon? Are they planning to charge the girl too? All I keep seeing is conflicting reports of he said she said stuff. Mixon apparently is only talking through his lawyer (smart). The girl appears to be talking to anyone that will call her from the media. (not smart). If the video evidence is clear about who the aggressor was wouldn't the charges have been filed today?

You're getting the same stuff we are. Nothing credible, and nothing is adding up. I'm also in agreement with you that this girl seems to be trying way too hard to plead her case.

This whole thread has a whole bunch of stupid in it, but I think you took the cake. I would say 130 LB girl is defenseless vs 210 LB Football recruit. No need to defend an indefensible act. Either he is innocent or he is not, we will find out in due time. Trying to rationalize it is just weak. Men do not hit women.
