Someone in the other thread I made asked about the AFC poll, it may be a bit late, but I figured I'd throw it out there.

The Pats. All of the Peyton fanboy's will scream Denver from the mountain tops, but it won't make it so. He will undoubtedly help the Pats win with a costly pick. I will feel sorry for him like I always do (he really is a likable guy) but it won't change the outcome. I am sorry in advance, Peyton. I've got mad respect for both Tom Brady and Peyton Manning but IMO the Broncos have the better team and Manning is having the better season. It seems like the Patriots are the sexy pick at this point but I really like the Broncos in this one.

If Denver is going to win this game they had better blow the Pats out. I mean who thinks that in a close game in the 4th quarter, Brady won't shine and Manning won't gag? I can't see Denver blowing New England out so I can't pick Denver. Plus I don't think many people are getting rich betting against Tom Brady.

Tom Brady led teams have a better win % in playoff games AWAY from home than Peyton Manning led teams have AT HOME and coming into last week Brady had as many playoff wins away from home in his 12 year career as Manning had AT home in his 15 year career .... Brady 6-4 away from home. Manning 7-5 at home ( coming into last week was 6-5 at home )

You seriously dont think past success/failure for the guys that lead these respective teams has any effect on the likelihood of how they perform tomorrow?? If not, thats cool but I think the past in a GREAT indicator of future success ESPECIALLY if the game is close.
