Oh I have no problem with a balance, we need both sides represented. But I will never let Dad continue to make the claim that his sources are not also guilty of being bias and misleading because that is simply a crock of shit.

I hear conservative personalities spew stuff like Dems want open borders, Dams hate American, they want to come to your house and take your guns. This is all complete nonsense but their listeners believe every word. This is no different than CNN slanting the views of their audience with their coverage.

They all manipulate the facts. I'm just so tired of all political networks. The left side spends 24 hours each day trashing the president configuring each and every story to make it appear Trump is an incompetent buffoon while the other side spends 24 hrs each day configuring that he isn't. Just tell the people like it is... let us decide!! Quit brain washing everyone on how their political bias sees the world. Why is it so hard to tell the truth on things. Think about it. Each network has ties to a party.... yet we watch and believe what they tell us. In reality... we will never know the exact truth on anything. Yeah I have been asking posters if they were aware of any news sources that are really unbiased. I never really got any. The conservatives that supplied links were to sites that were clearly right wing leaning and not neutral. I'd really like to get unslanted reporting but it appears non-existent.

A) there is nothing hypocritical about defending the rights of others. The “right” doesn’t believe in lawlessness. They believe in natural rights and minimal government.

B) when the situation is reversed? It is never reversed. Climate change is not proven science. The second amendment is an enumerated right. Welfare is literal extortion. Capital punishment is called “justice,” and very Constitutional. We always hear another POV...we engage in discussions. You are the one calling us assholes.

As for established precedent, please read what was actually decided in Roe. As Alabama law, you do realize it was a woman who signed it into law? The impact of abortion is quite obvious...death of innocents.

Nobody is deciding what a woman does with her body...we are defending the body that is inside of her. What if the “right” decided to sit by and allow slavery? Doing the right thing may involve things the left says is none of our business because the left wants to keep things like slavery because it is about power.

If you dont believe that it is murder to begin with, then there is no “defining of murder.”

Idiots on the right feel that they have the only definition of what does or does not constitute murder, refuse to consider other perspectives or definitions, and then hypocritically impose their will on everybody else.

Climate change science is absolutely fact based. Its overwhelmingly proven science. So much so that morons on the right warp those facts into inane talking points (“the climate has always changed! Its cyclical!”).

On every position I mentioned including 2A, climate change, immigration, tac cuts etc., there is inherent hypocrisy from the right.

You idiots want to eliminate a womans right to choose, but will be damned if somebody wants to eliminate your right to an assault rifle.

a - exactly so maybe pro life people are on to something and arent monsters. Those other policies are not equivalent.

b - Umm no they don't. You may be right (or wrong) about people being hypocritical about this issue but that doesn't have anything to do with whether the policy is correct. Each issue should be judged on its own merits.

It really comes down to what you're looking for. If you watch Fox or cnn or msnbc sure you're getting loads of spin. Same if you read opinion pieces or study how cnn or fox present the importance of different pieces of news.

But the actual reporting isn't fake. If you read the WSJ, WaPo, NYT, even CNN and Fox's actual reporting (not opinion pieces), you will get accurate information. As long as you can read and think critically you'll be fine.

There's room to criticize the media sure, but the bulk of the reporting by the serious outlets is actually pretty accurate.

People who claim you can't trust something like the NYT reported because it's the fake liberal media but will buy trump4america . Coms stories and have no problem with constant obvious lying from the president are idiots.
