I was actually thinking that. Store him on IR for the year if his injury is still bothering him then see what he has left. Maybe get a year or two of good to great production out of him. You are right before his injury he was unstoppable when he really wanted to be.
Apparently he is viewed as a really poor teammate - and human being as well.

Hadn't heard that. Figured there was more than injury involved if the Pats were cutting a 1st round pick so early. Have to go read on that.

Well now I don't want him if even half of that is true. That is a bit surprising that teams didn't know about his dob bite injury before the draft. Seems like they always know more than you could ever imagine.

It is sorta strange, they usually know the mass of the zit on your ass cheek.

Exactly...I mean they are talking to some of the elementary teachers of these players. I've heard they hire private investigators to follow them around during this off season to see what they are doing. So to not know he had a significant injury sustained by a dog bite is pretty strange. Well I guess it is our gain as it hurts the Patriots to have a 1st round pick bust like that. Well not really bust as he did actually play well when healthy so I guess to not get the advantage of his full strength on the field.

I once had a player tell me a team asked him about a broken bone he had as a child that he had forgotten about himself.

Doesn't surprise me. They were talking about how after a player gets injured they will also hire private investigators to follow them around so that say they are faking the injury they can cut the player without having to pay all of the IR money. I mean when it is a multi-billion dollar industry I guess it makes sense for them to protect their assets as much as possible.

Really? Hmmm, I never heard about having someone follow a player around to see if he is faking, but I know doctors examine injuries up and down if something isn't broken or torn.

I heard that some bored investigators were hired to follow Johhny Manziel around just to be entertained.

Ya never know what you will hear.

Just a minute, there's another voice talking now!

Well I have a new guy to add to my list. Justin Zimmer of Ferris State. He is a 300 lb. guy that went to Michigan's Pro Day and ran a 4.85 forty. 7.01 3-cone drill, did 44 reps on the bench press, and had 85 tackles, 13 sacks, 26 tackles for loss, and 4 forced fumbles this last season alone. So athletic guy who dominated his competition.

Like him a lot. Could be a dominant 3 tech. Haven't been able to find arm length but from his bench video, they aren't super long.

Yeah I read that was one of the knocks on him. Still if everything else checks out he is definitely worth a late round look with that great athleticism.

Who was the WR the Broncos drafted - who -it turned out - had severe burns and nerve damage to his hand? I think the Broncos were surprised to find that out.
