Honestly, the call was borderline, in my opinion, but they called it on Letang in the third, so...

The box score said it was hooking (wtf?), though I thought they said interference on the broadcast. Definitely wasn't boarding since it was shoulder-to-shoulder.

I thought it was pretty okay (player was reaching for the puck/in the vicinity), but the BJs got away with what could have been a trip on Scuderi just before - so I guess 1/2 + 1/2 = 1.

Same old problems for the Penguins. Malkin playing casually on the pp when up by two, gives up a shorty. And then missed assignments on D.

At least Fleury can't be blamed for this one. He already made two fantastic saves on the gwg but at some point you expect your D to clear a rebound.

And credit to Columbus, they wanted this more and deserved the win.

That would be funny. You could just have the Pens' players heads fall off and the skater puts in both of them since he took multiple shots.

Sorry, Dacks. Looked like the Caps' defense most of the season. Too much watching, not enough doing. I think you are right overall - Columbus just wanted it more, they had more hop tonight in the those OTs.
