Cutch is off right now. Really off. That's probably a big reason our offense has struggled this series.

As Cutch goes, so goes the Pirates.

cutch is great, but he has trouble getting guys in from 3rd with less than 2 outs.

when you are on third, if it is in the air, which it was as it goes by him, you go back to the bag.
if it gets to the OF you score easily. no reason for him to be caught in no mans land.
its a principle you learn in little league.

ja-ha on the bases is hilarious. unbelievable how ML IF can't run a guy back to the base he came from.
wold have been awesome if he took home with no one covering and everyone hanging out in the baseline.

snider is a stud off the bench and spot player.
too bad he can't do it when in a rhythm and playing regularly.
has really done well this year in the 4th OF role.
one reason why we have had some nice comeback wins after the 6th inning.

I don't care what the official scorers say..... I seriously watched Jay Hay swipe 2nd and 3rd base in the same play.

watson the 8th
melancon the 9th

who pitches the 7th - i hope wilson if he has a 1-2-3.
if not, will he do watson fro a 6 out hold or bring in pimentel (don't think he has pitched back to back this year.

That third strike call on Stewart was brutal. There's no excuse for calling that pitch, that far inside, a strike.

wilson had good inning, would like to see him start the 7th.
but martinez PH.
does that mean we get free runs pitching? hope it is pimentel. give him a chance, then bring watson in if he gets in trouble.

looks like watson is going for the 6 out hold or melancon for the 6 out save or maybe some combo.

would like to see pimentel get frieris innings.

I was glad to see him out there, but I was hoping for a better result than that.

love what mercer is doing this year.
moving polanco out of leadoff hopefully takes a little pressure off him. batting him second ahead of cutch might help him get some better pitches.
if we just had a better cleanup hitter against LHP. i like gaby but not a cleanup hitter.
martin is great this year on O but not a cleanup hitter. We have a lot of 2, 5, 6 hitters but no real 1 or 4, and i am not sure cutch is good enough at getting people home to be an ideal #3. better for leadoff or ideally 2.

would almost put marte or mercer there and then walker 5th and the other 6th.
