Wow you are clueless. Iowa's a top 15 all time college basketball program? And who has come out of Iowa to do anything in the NBA? And when is the last time you made the NCAA tourney or even the NIT. What is wrong with you?! Lmao Top 15 all time that is hilarious. When was the last time you were over .500 in the Big 10!??

Again you must have something wrong with you... The entire world watched bball in the 90's - Dream Team, along with Michael Jordan. He was huge and took the NBA worldwide. Hardly anyone watches the playoffs like they used to. Kids don't sit around during the early summer and watch the NBA playoffs anymore. No idea what's wrong with you, but you need to stop because you are clueless.

And D Rose is better with 1 leg than any of the current Lakers PG's. At least we went out swinging and not like a bunch of fairies, even without D Rose.

http://assets.espn.go.com/photo/2009/1004/cbe1.pdf.... As to point 1. ( also Iowa has been in the NIT the last 2 years and made the title game last year). Has been awhile since our last NCAA tourney though ( 2006 ) but that will change after this next year

Point 2.....The entire world did not watch basketball in the 90's. Everyone in Chicago did so maybe that is where you are confused. NBA ratings in the 90's are the worst of any of the last 3 decades and the playoff ratings for LAST year were the 2nd highest of all time.

1938 huh? Interesting where it has Illinois 6th. But whatever, I hope you all can get to the NCAA tourney this century.

As far as "ratings", we will have to disagree. I'm not goint to beat a dumb dead horse. Basketball exploded in the 90's and everyone in the world took notice. It challenged soccer as the #1 sport in the world.
And it's why so many foreigners are playing in the NBA today.

Do you know who the Michael Jordan of Turkey is? LOL

The end

Clearly. I will use data and facts. You can use whatever it is you are using.... LOL. As an FYI basketball has NEVER even been a top 5 sport for world popularity. Soccer, cricket, tennis, volleyball, field hockey, baseball and golf are the only sports to have anytime resided in the top 5 for world ranking for most popular sports. Im sure you wil "disagree" there too but whatev.
