Oh, but this guy is the devil, right? God, what terrible, judgmental people you are.

Fuck Incognito. I hope he never plays in the NFL again.

It's possible Incognito is mostly innocent in this, but the guy has been kicked off of pretty much every team he has ever been on. It isn't like he doesn't have a negative track record, and Martin is potentially throwing away millions in future NFL salary by walking away from the team... so I doubt it is something he did lightly.

The guy saved a voicemail from April to get back at a guy he has been hanging out with for months. Why you are presuming Martin is anything other than a completely manipulative asshole, I don't understand.

He didn't do it to "get back at" incognito. He did it to prove that things being said were out of line. How does it make him manipulative to prove his case? I bet if he didn't have that you would call him a liar. Calling martin a manipulative ass hole indicates you have no understanding of the situaiton

Because if it was so "out of line" he wouldn't have hung out with him for six months? If Incognito's behavior was so "out of line" he could have found something that happened in the last six months?

Are you being serious now?

He is being far more logical than you ever have been.

Chad Johnson never did anything to his teammates. He was great with the fans and the only thing he ever did was dance in the endzone. Don't even fucking act like it's even close to the same situations. Fucking moronic.

Nawwww ... he just went to jail for beating his beautiful, rich wife. Of course that's all good as long as ol Chad did it. And before you even want to start on that crap that what Chad did/didnt do while at Cincy, read below about the Cincinnati Saints. But, of course, Cincy has never had a 'history' of accepting 'questionable' players on that team either ... right??? Cincy ... that squeaky, clean team with no issues ....

Distractions remain an issue for drama-driven Bengals - NFL.com

"3. Have we seen the last of T.Ochocinco?
It looks that way. Lewis is actually through with Ochocinco and his attention-seeking ways. He's tried to ignore him, but Ochocinco keeps banging the drum louder, typically through Twitter, to heighten his brand, which to Lewis means drawing attention to himself. As for Owens, he's been far more low key and is coming off a good season, but he looks like he'll be playing elsewhere as well.

The Bengals have a group of young targets (Jordan Shipley, Jerome Simpson and Jermaine Gresham) who they need to take center stage and that won't happen if T.Ochocinco is in the house.

On that note, Bengals coaches have privately said that part of the reason why Palmer looked so bad at times is because Ochocinco and Owens routinely broke off routes, leaving Palmer throwing the ball to areas (or opposing defenders)."

Is It Time For The Bengals To Cut Ties With Adam Jones? - Cincy Jungle

"How many chances should an NFL player receive when it comes to off-field issues? In the case of Bengals cornerback Adam Jones, that question really has to start to be examined. On Monday, Jones was reportedly cited early in the morning for "disorderly conduct" after the driver (who apparently was his wife) of a vehicle he was riding in was arrested for a DUI.

This recent incident follows another pending legal issue, where Jones was charged with assault when he punched/slapped a woman this summer after she threw a drink in his face. In case you were wondering if that was Jones' only legal issue in his Cincinnati character-rebuild, you're wrong. He also had a scuffle in a bar back before the 2011 season when he was recovering from a neck procedure. Do we really need to go back into Jones' early NFL career to review the other woes?

Nevertheless, the inner-Pacman revealed himself once again when he apparently got mouthy with the officer who arrested his wife for the DUI. While it's important to note that Jones wasn't arrested here, rather just cited, but it won't be helping his October 7th hearing on the prior assault charge one bit. Depending on the result of that hearing in a couple of weeks, Jones could very well be looking at a suspension.

It begs the question: "when is enough, enough?", doesn't it?"

Cincinnati Bengals' Legal Troubles Tie into a Troubled Past | Bleacher Report

"Whether the player is a moron like Adam "Pac Man" Jones paralyzing a person for life after "making it rain" (with money) at a strip club, or the late Chris Henry for having continual alcohol issues, the Bengals franchise has had their players arrested over 32 times since 2000. It is easily this highest number amongst NFL teams, and this issue is a huge reason the team has gone 73-104 since 2000."

Why do Bengals sign troubled players?* - AFC North Blog - ESPN

"Then, like so many times over the past year, the franchise's name is getting put in the headline with another player in legal trouble. Bengals undrafted rookie Brandon Joiner was sentenced Wednesday to three years in prison on charges stemming from a 2007 incident that occurred when he was playing at Texas A&M, according to the Bryan-College Station Eagle.

Technically, Joiner didn't get in trouble while being a member of the Bengals. That still doesn't answer the bigger question: Why do the Bengals get involved with such players? Why are they bringing in a player with this type of history? I understand that football players are hardly choir boys, but Joiner was indicted in January 2008 for robbing a drug dealer at gunpoint.

The Bengals should be the last team taking a chance on Joiner. They've had four players get in trouble with the law over the past 10 months: running back Cedric Benson, cornerback Adam Jones, wide receiver Jerome Simpson and linebacker Rey Maualuga. Benson and Jones both had legal incidents before the Bengals signed them.

In other news, the Bengals signed first-round pick Kevin Zeitler, the team announced. Of course, this positive move is overshadowed by another player in a courtroom.

*UPDATE: The Bengals plan to keep Joiner on their offseason roster. Here's the official statement:

"Though it is unlikely he will have any chance to play this season, his contract extends beyond 2012, and the Club is choosing to retain his NFL rights at this time. Brandon must serve a sentence for a crime he was convicted of in 2007 -- when he was 18. But his positive actions during the past five years, including significant community service work, graduation from Arkansas State University and an unblemished subsequent behavior record, have generated a group of active supporters that includes Mike Beebe, the Governor of Arkansas, and Hugh Freeze, Brandon's head coach at Arkansas State and now head coach at Mississippi. In kind, the Bengals support Brandon's future opportunity for a career in the NFL."

==============================================================================

I could definitely go on with other players, but I think we are getting the drift here. You sound like nothing more than a frustrated, sorry Bengals fan that just want to throw rocks at other teams maybe in an attempt to deflect the problems with the team you claim to be a fan of ... going out on a limb there, but I'm just guessing you are??? More of your teams' players have been in trouble with the law over the last few years than anybodys. And, oh btw ... have ACTUALLY BROKEN THE LAW AND GONE TO JAIL over it!!! The funny thing about this is that it took me less than 10 minutes to gather these facts about the team that you're a fan of.

Word of advice for ya here from the one you felt the need to call a fucking moron and 'not to even try it' ... "Watch where you throw your stones in your own glass house."

Maybe not until he gets his Harvard lawyer parents defending him in a courtroom in an attempt to use this to sue the NFL, the Dolphins and Incognito for all of this 'trumped up bullshit'. Martin and his parents are no dummies ... or are they, if this goes to court in any attempt to get $$$ out of this??? I mean, c'mon ... it's the American way these days!

It's funny how the story really looks when some more of the 'facts' start REALLY surfacing and not just what a few hacks grab onto and start writing articles & shooting their mouths off huh?

I have deleted messages from April on my IPhone. (Deleted, but still retrievable)And this is my third phone since then. Not one of them is from a co-worker talking about slapping my mother or killing me.

Bring what to who's attention? Im just letting ya know its not really that uncommon to have old messages. Unimportant, incriminating or otherwise.

The guy walked away from millions in future earnings because he couldn't deal with the harassment. Incognito has been kicked off of every team he has ever been on for being an asshole. It seems likely Incognito is the one at fault here. Not for sure, but it seems really likely.

I highly doubt it wasn't important then if it is now. He should have acted, instead of blowing up the entire team. He isn't an innocent little boy, he's a grown man. He is acting like a petulant, child.

Atleast he's not taking PEDs. Hate to see what you'd think of him then. (Yeah... He's the one blowing up the team...)

Wonder how these tough guys would feel if martin had taken him out, COMPLETELY out after snapping. Would u incognito defenders consider this "manning up"?

No, he's an innocent little, effeminate, ****. Making threatening calls at the behest of your, douchebag coach, should get you suspended. Tubbs up there wants draft picks taken from the team. I don't know what next, maybe take the entirety of the orginizational out back and level them, via firing squad.

It seems so long ago now that you whined about class and sportsmanship. (My friend who was Incognitos teammate at Linclon, and played for your 9ers for a minute agrees with you. I didn't bother responding to his nonsense. won't bother with yours on this thread anymore either)

well now it appears Martin did in fact play the voicemail to his teammates in the locker room but did it in a joking manner and made no ill light of it. In fact teammates are saying they were best friends and did everything together.

Martin is now thought to just have been using Igcognito as a scapegoat so Martin could get out of the league with pay. If this is true than Martin is the "bully" here (not saying Ingconito is not guilty or a bad human but just not as bad in this case).

People that get bullied usually do not have that coping ability. They get bullied because they take it. And the bully feel superior and keeps doing it because he can get away with it.

If it would be nice if it was just that easy, but again Martin didn't have it in him to do it.

Perhaps he did and never actually was bullied (as seen by my above post above this one)... That perhaps he never really was bullied. But you are correct some people just don't have it in them to really do anything about it.
