Miami Dolphins guard Richie Incognito said he was advised Sunday night by coach Joe Philbin that he has been suspended indefinitely while NFL investigates what caused rookie Jonathan Martin's departure from the club, NFL Media's Jeff Darlington reported.

Martin left the team following an emotional breakdown that stemmed from a cafeteria prank. He didn't play in Miami's 22-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on "Thursday Night Football." Martin is with his family after seeking counseling.

The Dolphins had been aware of Martin's issues with his teammates since the spring, NFL Media's Albert Breer reported on Sunday.

Some sources say that the veteran Dolphin players have been making rookies pay for the nightlife culture of Miami, some are going broke. Rookies don't make that much as it is, at least not enough to be throwing tens of thousands of dollars for vets. If this is what is going on, which hasn't been confirmed, then I can understand why some of the players might be upset.
