You don't understand football.Yeah pretty much. Typically when you have two players available to you in free agency you offer the one that is better more money than the other.

You don't understand football.
Might just be your first correct post ever.I don't you do.
But then again you're only sitting here trying to argue that Ertz is better because he is on your team now.
Thanks for conceding.I don't you do.

Goedert has age on his side, but for this year and perhaps the next 2, I'll take Ertz.
They are kind of similar actually, but Ertz has the experience which is huge for a contending team. Why would you take Ertz? What aspect of his game is he better?

I was going to say the same thing, but truth is we don't know. What we do know is Goedert cannot take a punch. And can take a punch.....
Not only is he better than Ertz and every GM feels that way but he will be getting a much larger contract than Ertz when they both enter free agency at the same time thus proving this.

Goedert is only 26 with 4 yrs of experience...
Ertz is going to be 31 in two weeks and has 8 yrs of experience...
Of course Goedert will get the larger contract in FA... Ertz is getting old...
Yes... his YAC sucks. They aren't all that similiar. Ertz is very much a finesse player who doesn't offer much when it comes to blocking as a tight end and rarely provides anything after the catch.
Way ahead of you my man. This was my post from days agoThe real irony of this thread is that if the Cards would have acquired Goedert instead of Ertz, RTK would be telling us all that Ertz is the better player due to his SB experience or something else. Just sayin' what y'all are thinkin'.
Something tells me that if they traded Goedert instead of Ertz, then Ertz would have been the better TE.
Yes... his YAC sucks.
You can't make this shit up

lol. SureThat's why that tweet says "YAC Zach" because he rarely ever picks up YAC.
lol. Sure
I'll get right on that. Please find any highlights from his career or articles talking about his YAC ability.
Philadelphia Eagles: Sadly, Zach Ertz just can’t YAC it
While Zach Ertz is among the best tight ends in the NFL, the Philadelphia Eagles' top receiver has a serious problem picking up yards after the catch.section215.com
