Campo's and Tony Lukes, then Pat's, then Geno's for me.

Not quite as good as the others listed but I often get them from Steve's Prince of Steaks since I work close by.

Pat's and Geno's are fun for the crowd, but not even in the top 5 of cheesesteaks. If you do go to Pat's though, you need to order Wiz Wit' So I would go with Cheez Wiz as the cheese of choice.

Wiz witout. Onions were created by the devil.

IMO any cheese is acceptable to be a Philly cheesesteak

I'm not huge on the Cheez wiz thing. Don't get me wrong, I'll devour the fucking thing. Lol. I like the provolone cheese if it's offered. My favorite cheesesteak is either Tony Luke's, Geno's is good as well. There is a place up in NE Philly and can't remember the fucking place. I have family in Abington area. Not sure if it's still there. Just my two cents.

You guys are sooo lucky to have a Geno's & Pats,i see em on those cookin shows all the time.I wish we had them here in ol KY! lol:help:

I'm ashamed to say this but I actually have never had Tony Luke's before. Guess I need to make trip there some time soon.

This^^^ I'm pretty shocked you have not tried Tony Luke's. Hell I'd drive 8 hours just to eat here again. I can't wait to get back to Philly this summer for a nice big fat cheesesteak from Tony Luke's.

Never been to Tony Luke's...ever. Of the Center City/South St region traps, Jim's is better than either Pat's or Geno's. Rick's over in Shops at Liberty Place is pretty damn amazing. Chubby's in Roxborough on Ridge Ave is also a damn good steak. (Fiesta is better for just about anything but a steak).

Been there a bunch of times when my fiance lived in Manayunk. Wasn't too impressed though.
