Thread to discuss moves for next season.
Gotta upgrade the rotation and resign Realmuto.
Fire Gabe because his coaching hires suck.
Nola/Arrieta/?/?/? has not been good enough. Don't care if it's Gerrit Cole or not, but they need to get better at SP2 and 3.
I don't like spending money in the bullpen for the reasons we saw this year. I'd like to think that we'd be OK with Dominguez and Robinson coming back, anyway.
#4 thinking outside of the box. sign rendon, trade hoskins for a pitcher and put bohm at 1st base.
Seems they've come to their senses, and Young has been fired. I think that both Kapler's choices for hitting coach and pitching coach getting canned in the same season shouldn't bode well for Gabe.Apparently I missed something, and Chris Young deserves to keep his job.
World Series or bust next year. If they don't win the whole thing, fire every last one of them.
Heads are rolling and Kapler is gonso!
The Phillies should now hire Kurt Schilling who is interested in the manager job. He would bury the Dildoes for good. Don't wait around though because he is also interested in a pitching coach job with the Red Socks.
GO for Joe! However Klentak will probably avoid getting a real baseball mind.I’d prefer a real manger, Girardi or Showalter. In one Phils discussions yesterday, both Ben Davis and Corey Simon suggested Girardi. Somebody here, maybe northeast, also suggested him awhile ago.

That was not an encouraging press conference from Friday.
Are we to believe Middleton is calling the shots and Klentak/MacPhail are his lackeys?
If that's the case, how likely are they to pick a manager that will have no say in how things are done within the organization?
