I really want to see the Phils move up in this poor NL East division, retro. Maybe a hot callup in September can help get the job done, like Franco, for example.

I'll bet Nola could make an impact on the Phillies like Wacha did for the Cards. But I don't see it happening. Franco is urgent. Phils need guys who can hit. They should bring up a selection of the best hitters. Plus I'd like them to try Asche at ss with Franco at 3rd.

I like that move as well jvett. WTH, the Phillies have nothing to lose and if they get two good defensive players in moving Asche to SS and Franco at third and then get Asche's hitting production up, with Franco's hitting that would be a good move.

I think Nola is almost done for the year. He started playing for LSU in February and they went deep into the college world series so he will probably be shut down. He looks really good so far though.

I thought they had Franco up last Sept. where he had 10 ABs or so. I think they have to bring him up.
