Second game of the series. Buchanan vs RHP Hellickson.
AZ loads the bases in the 2nd. Buchanan gives up a double over Ruf's and a single by Hellickson, and it's suddenly 4-1, AZ. Buchanan is not up to the task tonight.
has he been up to the task this season?? I mean jesus fucking Christ , his ERA is 7.50
when the fuck is it enough???????????????? I refuse to believe there isn't anyone available or in minors that can do worse than Buchanan and Harang
its embarassing
Isn't this the year to find out who's ready for the MLs? Buchanan was 6-8 last year and 3.75. After 9 games this year, he was 7.23 and 2-6. Now at 9.00. A turn for the worse like Severino. He may be sent down for more seasoning soon.
What about Jerome fucking Williams? He's not embarassing?has he been up to the task this season?? I mean jesus fucking Christ , his ERA is 7.50

Severino is the same way, not enough talent for the bigs. Phillies have been trying hard to convert future career minor league pitchers into starters in the big leagues. It just cannot be done.Isn't this the year to find out who's ready for the MLs? Buchanan was 6-8 last year and 3.75. After 9 games this year, he was 7.23 and 2-6. Now at 9.00. Even Adam Morgan, 3-3, 4.06, is a question mark, especially coming back from shoulder surgery in '14. But all these young pitchers need more games, more time. It will be disappointing if neither Buchanan nor Morgan can find success. It's good that recent trades have yielded some potentially good young arms.
