I'm anxious to see what this lineup can do with both Scherzer (tomorrow) and deGrom (out till June). This was one of those days when no matter how good the lineup is, you can't get much done. I stuck around because it was a possibility, and they got so close to within one big swing of Hoskin's bat with two on, two out, and two strikes in the ninth. So they went down fighting and this time pitcher Diaz won. A great game though.

Alec Bohm got a standing ovation when he came up to pinch hit in the 8th, then grounded out.

That was good to see that Bohm got an ovation. It saved everyone in the sports world from a bunch of hackey jokes about Philadelphia fans and Santa Claus.

Yea. We will see about all these wins we are going to have with this powerful offense that just took two games off re-introducing the 2022 Dildoes that has once again horrible pitching. Even with dumb teams, these Dildoes will find a way to eff-it-all-up just like they do every year. I'll let you be the eternal optimist that you are every year but it ain't going to be much different than last year. O.K. I'll give you 10 more games. LOL!
