If the two were anywhere near equal, yes. Wentz is a good young QB who if he can stay healthy looks like he will be a top 5 or top 10 QB for years to come. Foles is more a spare part that played his opportunity into a Markie Mark movie script...

Based on what, exactly? To get to that status you have to be able to win tough games in the playoffs.

My point is, in my humble yet learned and sophisticated opinion, that the team buys into Foles, and that Wentz and coaching staff need to establish clearly why he's displacing Foles at this point.

Just as the casual fan knows... every player on that team knows who the better player is. But even if the gap wasn’t so large Wentz will still get the nod cause we can’t afford Foles after this year.

First Eagles game is Atlanta and that one is going to be tough regardless of who starts. Second is Bucs and is pretty winnable with Foles, considering that Winston will be out. I think a 1-1 start is realistic, and 2-0 still quite possible.
