Percy Harvin traded to the Jets for conditional pick

SEATTLE — The Seattle Seahawks have reportedly traded wide receiver Percy Harvin to the Jets.
NFL insider Jay Glazer tweeted the information Friday:




NFL network reporter Ian Rapoport confirmed the tweet, saying Harvin was traded for a mid-round pick. Local sports radio announcer Dave Mahler also confirmed the trade was true.


Reasons behind the trade were unclear Friday afternoon.

Well at least this means we'll probably see the jet sweep crap thrown out of the playbook. Hopefully they're able to run the ball against St. Louis since the O-Line can't pass block for crap. I couldn't tell you. But with him on the field they obviously went away from it.

He never went deep in Min, and the Seahawks have stopped throwing deep in favor of using more short plays to his advantage this year.

something definitely went down. On tv they mentioned Percy was not getting along with Wilson and Lynch. Not sure if true or not, but I also think he pulls himself out of games and practices which won't sit right with any team

He wasn't even and impact the entire season last year though until the Super Bowl... Which then he was obviously a huge impact... But our offense was solid without him...

Well, a lot of those were short dump-offs to Harvin. He was averaging like 6 yards per catch.
