Shouldn't be an issue, it's rare things get thrown on the ice in NY. Since they redid the garden the corporate fucks sitting close to the ice probably don't have the arm strength to reach the ice and the rest of us are too drunk

well i have seen this throughout the playoffs, and this has nothing to do with being a rangers fan, but goals are so hard to come by in the NHL, and as we know in all major sports offense is what draws a crowd, this rule will not last long! NITPICKING, it really has nothing to do with the goal. thoughts?

I'm really torn...I like it for the super poor calls missed (Briere PTSD), but I don't like certain facets of it. I really hate when it happens eons before a goal happens. Obviously it has some affect on the play, because who knows what happens if appropriately called, but after a dominant shift in the zone resulting in a goal is called back its rough. I actually think it's resulted in linesmen being quicker to the whistle because they don't want to be wrong and having to call back a goal.
